On August 8, 2015, the New England Basketball Hall of Fame was privileged to induct Bill Gaertner, former assistant men's basketball coach at UCONN and head men's basketball coach at Norwich University, into the Pathfinder Category. The category honors people with New England basketball roots who have gone beyond the New England borders to make special societal contributions.
