Next Steps

A “Support Dan” website will be launched in the very near future.  The website will include the song snippets, and the formal announcement of the release date of the full Stay Relevant album.   Along with the electronic release, there will be a limited edition of CDs available for holiday purchase, the details of which will be explained on the website.

The website will contain other features, including information on the documentary that Dan is producing on the Grand Jury System, and the ethics and the media project.  The latter project involves a group of distinguished individuals reading every word written about Dan’s case and formulating a report that will be sent to a school of journalism.  Katherine Gregg, Michael Stanton, Amanda Falcone, and Matthew Kauffman are among the journalists whose reporting is being carefully scrutinized.  The selected school of journalism will be asked to judge the manner in which the media covered Dan’s case.  The website will also address Institute’s “assets” that Dan has created since February 2012, including the African Scholar-Athlete Games, which will lead to the next World Scholar-Athlete Games, and the Shoeless Joe Play.  The website will further include an eight-minute video stage reading of the play.
